The perfect chest freezer for RVing

This was excellently packaged and is living up to all our hopes. We have always had a chest freezer and have missed that since going full time RV. We were amazed at how solidly this is built. We are planning to use it as a freezer on both sides, but it can be used as a refrigerator/freezer if our main fridge should have issues. So far, we are very impressed with it's quality and would definitely recommend it.

Dual Zone

Dual Zone makes this a very flexible and road worthy product. We started the trip with one side as a freezer, then switched it to fridge temp so the meat could thaw. Beverages on the other side were cold. Lid is sturdy enough to stand/sit on. Not sure what the amp draw was, but it didn't seem to draw much power.

So Far So Good Everything and More than Expected

I have been looking at getting a fridge/Freezer for a long time for camping and using it sometimes during normal life and finally pulled the trigger on the new CFX395DZ. I am impressed by the size and everything it can hold. It feels like you fill it and it just keeps making more room. I bought it mainly for my new Ram 2500 with a camping shell on the back. Runs off power while driving that I hooked up. I thought to myself when buying, why would I need WiFi or Bluetooth, well now I see its great to monitor all the app does from the cab on long trips and see the temp after I turn it on. I travel to my parents once a month and there are a few things I cant get where I live. This is making it easy never worrying about thawing or not staying cold on the 2 hour trip. Also no more driving all the way home if the girl wants to buy ice cream at the grocery store and we have other stops to make. Takes about 1 hr to get from 77F to 36 or ref temp, and about 2 hours to get to freezing (2 deg F) in my experience using both 120V and 12V. I will update as I go on. Cant wait to use it actually camping and figure out what type of power consumption it truly uses.
