2 units bought, 2nd one works well enough...
The white version is a bit cursed. OK for use in a far away room, so I'm keeping it but too noisy to use in my bedroom due to a faulty fan. I blame the shipping company's or truckers not being gentle with loads. Unit has a slightly faulty fan/motor. Fan is imbalanced. Could be assembled wrong.. that's the other possibility. This was the 2nd exact same model. Having my dad return the 1st one that he got me that was even louder (3x louder!) for his money back. I should mention that even if this air purifier HAP8650-WH was not faulty (too noisy with motor issue) that it would still be too loud on fan speed 1/low! Bad! The new diamond air purifier is the Veva brand ones, not Holms/Honeywell/Filtrete these days. A good air purifier these days is a diamond in the rough (needle in a haystack; very rare).
