My mom had an old Swingaway can opener when I was growing up, still has it too, from back when they were made in America. It's great, but Swingaway is no longer made in America and not nearly as good as it used to be. EzeDuzIt can openers are made in America in Swingaways old factory. They're just as good if not better. They're beefy and well made with a smooth turn and cut through cans like butter, unlike Kitchen Aid can openers which this one replaced in my kitchen.
