Great for Litter training
I love the Naturally Fresh brand. I was adamant on avoiding clay litter when we adopted our cats. This is much easier to clean than wood pellets, and my cats seem to like the coverage better than pellets. I normally use the multicat, but I picked this up to litter train new kittens. Works like a charm at attracting the cats to the boxes. All of their litters clump well, compared to other natural brands. I personally think it gives off a slight coffee smell from the walnut, and with daily sifting, it effectively absorbs urine and other odors. I was so happy with their multicat litter, I started recommending this brand to all my cat loving friends and family.

Good alternative for litter resistant cats
This is a very good substitution for regular clumping litter. We have a cat who refuses to use the litter box with reg. liter in it and has all her life. Instead she will use the newspaper we have to keep on the ground by the litter box. So far she has ventured into the box with this litter in it and will use it for her urine. She has used it intermittently for stool leaving it on the top without burying it, but still occasionally uses the paper.
