The cup arrived odorless, slightly firm around the lip and squishy at the cup area. This makes it easy to insert, and will pop open nicely once inside. A little trick I learned was to turn the cup by the stem after inserting to ensure it is sealed and no leakage will occur, even while sleeping (the instructions are pretty good and describing how to use the cup). My cycle lasts around 5 days, I usually need to clean the cup twice on the first day, my heaviest, but after I have used the cup for periods up to 16 hrs before removing and cleaning out.

I am so happy I found the cup that works for my anatomy. I was new to cups and was afraid, it took several tries but after getting the hang of it I am so thankful I took the jump and tried cups. Also I did not trim the tip and glad I did not, since some days on my period my cervix is higher. On days that it is low it really does not bother me as long as I have it placed correctly.
