Great for ice tea

I had been making ice tea by steeping bags in a pan, then pouring it thru a funnel into a gallon jug. With this electric kettle, I can pour it directly in the jug. After I filled with cold water, it took approximately 2 minutes for the water to boil. THAT fast. I then unplugged it and put my tea bags in. What a mess saver. The tea actually goes in the jug instead of all over the counter. Also did some soup in it By the time you throw away your soup can, get your bowl and spoon, it will be ready. I plan on making the grandkids chocolate milk in it this winter. So many uses. I would definitely recommend this electric kettle to anyone.

Awesome Electric Kettle!

Aroma Electric Kettle We love our Aroma Electric Kettle! All those years of waiting for water to boil...wait no more. This 6 cup electric kettle boils water super fast. We timed it. For a 6 cup capacity, it took less than 7 minutes. If you boil fewer cups, the requited time will decrease. Our family eat a lot of instant cup of noodles and drink lots of tea. We used to have to wait over 20 minutes for the water to boil. It has cut that in over half the time. It is super simple to use - fill water, plug, power on, wait a few minutes, and you will start seeing the steam come out as the water starts to boil. It is that simple. Even my 10 year-old is able to make a cup of noodles all by himself now. It has a Smart Shut-Off once the water boils, so you don't have to worry about it over-boiling and burning the house down. It has a easy to grip handle. The kettle comes off its base, so it pours like a pitcher. We use our electric kettle daily. We take it with us when we travel. It is light and very portable. I have only wondered why we didn't have this sooner. Love our Aroma Electric Kettle and highly recommend it!

I threw my old tea kettle out!

First thoughts, I am so sick of the tea kettle on my stove. When it whistles you have to jump up to silence it quick! Grease splatters on it unless I find a place to put it every time I cook. My stove is placed with no counters on either side so it's inconvenient. This electric kettle is so easy to use. I love it! It boils water fast, then switches itself off. If you get to it a few minutes later it's fine. I actually misunderstood the instructions and thought the kettle kept water hot after boiling. It doesn't. It switches off. I can't say how many times I finished my tea and had a second cup (with the water hot enough to seep tea in) before I figured that out. It sits on a small base connected to the electric cord and you lift it off that base to pour. All very easy and simple. The way the kettle is shaped, the part where water pours out fits right into my refrigerator water dispenser so I can use filtered water easily.
