The pieces were small enough for puppies to eat. We started out adding water to soften it as puppies were just beginning to eat solid food. As the puppies grew, we began offering it dry. Now that puppies are almost a year old, we're mixing it with adult pedigree food. They all have shiny, healthy coats, normal bowel movements, and are in perfect health. This food has remained consistently appealing and affordable.

I have a puppy foster sanctuary and I have used other puppy foods but there was entirely too much waste, food not eaten. When I decided to change to Pedigree Puppy it was the best decision I've made. Puppies thrive on this food and are healthy and there is zero waste. I highly recommend this dog food for puppies and the adult Pedigree for older dogs.
