This is the first steel ever for me to use or own. Wow, what a game changer. No more dragging out the whetstone to restore that edge. I sharpened three knives with about 6 swipes each. So much faster and easier. I actually bought this to sharpen a pair of scissors, which did not work. It is sturdy and should last a lifetime. Very glad I bought this steel.
