We have found it to have superior effectiveness to other products, with the added advantage of it not "matting together" bird feathers as some other gel or cream products do, which would result in loss of insulation and potential ingestion while preening. A Must Have For Your Animal First Aid Kit!!!

Purchased this for parents who live in a very rural area - often having a LOT of sick, injured, lost/dumped animals show up on their property. Most of the injuries are abscesses (on cats). If you cannot get an animal with superficial wounds to the bet - this is an absolute must to have on hand. PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS ON USE!!! Has multiple applications for various kinds of domestic/farm animals. Always consult with a veterinarian for injured animals - however - in the interim, especially if you're far away from vet services, this can be very useful. Whatever you do - do NOT use hydrogen peroxide on animal wounds!!! Ever! THIS is what you'll want to gently apply while waiting to see vet. Very effective, easy to use - safe.
