Breakfast to dinner-Hillshire Farms Smoked Sausage

I have always like the taste of smoked sausage and Hillshire Farms is a winner. I usually make it with cabbage, onions and potatoes for dinner, but I also like to fry it for breakfast sausage. Putting it on a hotdog bun with mustard is also a favorite for a quick snack. All in all, I usually keep Hillshire sausage in the freezer to have on hand for any of the above meals.

I’ve been hooked on this sausage dish and yse it in this simple recipie. I slice up the sausage, onions, and green peppers, then sauté them in olive oil until they start to caramelize. While that’s going, I season raw shrimp with Kinder’s Red Jalapeño Garlic (let it sit about 10 minutes) and then toss it in the pan. Cover and sauté until the shrimp turn pink, and that’s it—flavor-packed and ready to eat!! easy peasy and it feels like something you’d get at a Cajun restaurant, but it’s super quick at home. I’ve tried it with garlic butter rice, cornbread, roasted veggies, and even just some crusty bread to soak up the juices. Every combo works. Definitely one of those recipes that’s in my regular rotation. you gotta try it!
