Scoop: Each day remove all urine and solid waste clumps from the litter box with a litter scoop. Dispose of waste in trash receptacle. Refresh: Add Special Kitty Scoopable Tight Clumping Cat Litter, Fragrance Free as needed to maintain the litter at least 3 inches deep. If scooped daily, the remaining clean litter will not need to be discarded.

Works better than a lot of more expensive stuff
I have four cats and one box. To my immense surprise, this is the best litter I have found for clumping and basic odor control, with a caveat on odor that I'll get to in a second.. It isn't dust free, but it's less dusty than the Barm and Mammer stuff and the Tide Kats, pours easier and clumps tighter. As far as odor goes, it's not tons better than the others, although it's definitely not worse. But a cheap box of baking soda mixed in makes a HUGE difference. Mix it in well so prevent more dust and the smell seals in. Not forever! It has a lifespan of about a week. But work it does, at least until I spring for one of those auto boxes.

Do some research about clay dust before you buy.
I like the price and quality but did see some tracking out of the box. My 3 cats seem to like to throw litter amazingly high! This product was tracking a lot. It was worth the money but I am having some lung congestion that is going around right now so switched to a lower dust pine litter. RESEARCH CLAY DUST effect on the lungs before you decide what to use.
