For best results, do not mix with non-clumping cat litter. For first time use, start with an empty, clean cat litter box. Fill it with 3 to 4 inches of Fresh Step Lightweight Extreme Clumping Cat Litter. Remove clumps and solids daily and dispose in trash. Do not flush. The rest of the litter stays fresh. Add more litter to refresh your litter box each time you scoop. Maintain level of litter at 3 to 4 inches.

These items were sent to me damaged! The box they were shipped in was fine, so they were damaged prior to being shipped. That's terrible %26 Walmart should be ashamed of sending customers damaged goods. The litter was all over the place inside the shipping box.

The only cat litter we use
I LOVE this! Light weight cat litter! What a GREAT idea! We just got my son a new kitten. This is the first time I've had a cat in the house in 15 years or more, so I had never heard of lightweight cat litter. It makes SUCH a difference when you're taking out the trash. This is the only cat litter we buy now. The odor control and clumping are great.

Easy to use and smells fresh!
This is not the cheapest option but it is the BEST because it is lightweight and it smells fabulous. So, it is not just lightweight when you pour it in but when you clean the box; no more heavy bags of cat poop to haul to the trash. I clean the litter box daily, but the other clumping litter was much heavier and inconvenient. I would never go back to regular.
