The rubber top comes so close to the snap it wouldn't snap completely into the female on the cover. I trimmed off a lip and a little kore with a razor blade to get a better connection. For price it's a good purchase.

.parts do not fit together

I could not fit the parts together to install under the cover to my boat. Either parts are missing or it was slapped together as a joke to whoever bought this no nonsense. Complete waste of time. Had to return.

Did not last a boating season

Purchased four of these in April 2015. Installed and reinstalled several times during the boating season while putting the boat cover on and off. When the top was "loose", the poles fell over landing on the boat floor. Two (2) of the three used pole tops broke when hitting the floor of the boat. After three calls to Wal Mart and the manufacturer (90 day warranty)--Wal Mart (1 year warranty) made the purchase "good" and replaced the two broken support poles. (Very quick shipping !) The question now is--Do I resell the 'NIB" support poles to another person; donate to charity or 'toss in the trash' due to poor quality and not being able to "trust" them.
