Zebra Pen G-450 Gel Pen, 0.7mm Medium Point, Black A, 1-Pack

I love a good, smooth gel pen and I've been a dedicated Bic Gelocity pen user for quite some time. I am pleasantly surprised by how much i like the Zebra G-450 gel pen, although it's noticeably different than the later in a few ways. 1 - The Zebra pen is close to an inch shorter and at least half the circumference around of the Gelocity pen. So, it took some getting used to it in my hand since i am just used to the fatter pen. 2 - But, regardless of overall size, the Zebra pen has a small but grippy enough rubber grip area to hold it steady. It is also clearly a higher quality body of the pen as it's a brass barrel instead of plastic like the Gelocity. You can feel the quality difference in your hand. 3 - This is silly, but it makes a quieter clicking noise than the Gelocity. 4 - The ball point and ink in the Zebra is comparable to the Gelocity, when writing side by side, you can tell no difference. However, the Zebra feels more controlled & neat when you're writing and it does not smear. 5 - Refillable ink is an A+ feature, as i just throw away Gelocity pens when they run out and replace them. 6 - When writing on a wall calendar, the Gelocity will lose it's ability to write and the Zebra still writes as cleanly as if i was leaning on a normal surface. Overall, i am very impressed with this pen. I didn't think I would like anything better than the Bic Gelocity, but i think i would definitely buy this pen again in the future.

This pen is amazing. It is comfortable to hold and the ink is great. The pen is heavier than a normal pen which i found to be a nice thing. You could tell that is was good quality and did not feel, look or write like a cheaply made pen.
