These mechanical pencil are exactly what my students who receive occupational therapy need. For some students, it is recommened that they use an adaptive/mechanical pencil for the pressure feedback (pressing too hard breaks the lead). But for some, they also need help with reinforcing the tripod grasp. These pencils did just that and they are thicker which helps with fine motor development even more.
