Frankincense, also called olibanum, is an aromatic resin obtained from trees of the genus Boswellia. Frankincense is tapped from the scraggly but hardy trees by slashing the bark, which is called striping, and allowing the exuded resin to bleed out and harden. These hardened resins are called tears. There are several species and varieties of frankincense trees, each producing a slightly different type of resin.

Egypcian organic Frankincense
II purchased this organic Frankincense from online at Walmart. It did look good in the package online. it showed big rock sizes and golden picture and made me interest to buy it. When I received this package, it had very tiny small dusty and pieces like sands in the package and I just could not use them at all. it looks like that when they harvested this product, instead of trowing away the bottom residue, they try to sell then and unfortunately this bad bad not usable sandy and dusty product came to me. I will never ever but this Egyptian product and Walmart should watch what material is selling to its customer.
