Great filter, would recommend

Easy set up (make sure you measure twice, because getting the tubes on is easy, as is securing them, but taking them back off is another thing). No issues. No leaks. Very happy with this purchase, got tired of noisy Aquaclears (except the 110 model, which is awesome). I have another canister(Hydor), and neither has had an issue or integrity problem. This is an authentic review, no one gives me anything. If anything happens, I WILL update.

Duped by a “quality” brand

I NEVER write reviews so this should tell you how bad this filter is. I ordered this and setup wasn't too difficult at first. I followed all the steps and before too long was ready to try it. It didn't work. After multiple attempts to get the water moving through the pump I finally got it going by pouring additional water down the in-tube The next day, I noticed the water level had dropped by about an inch. I didn't see any leaks (new tank) and didn't feel any water or dampness. My miss. I filled the tank back to the proper height. Same thing next day. I refilled again, thinking it was just evaporating more than I was used to. This time, after about an hour I heard dripping coming from the aquarium. Opened the cabinet to find a steady leak coming out the sides and the top. Nothing I had attached, it was all Aqueon! I was also well wishing the 4.5 feet guideline between filter and water level. I've used Aqueon products for years but this is likely the first and last straw.
