I got these gloves for light gardening. I am not a gardener. Every plant that has ever entered my home went out in a trash bag. This spring, I decided to try outdoor gardening. I raked a small area and covered it in wildflower seeds. I figured nature would do a better job than me. The flowers have come up beautifully, but so have the weeds with the increased watering. I'm not pulling anything too hard, just regular backyard weeds, but these gloves have been magnificent! They're sort of a thinish material, so my hands don't sweat so much. They provide just the right amount of protection and keep under my fingernails clean. If you're doing similar light gardening, I think these gloves will be perfect for you! If, however, you're working with plants that have thorns, briars, spikes, or any sharp areas, then you really should look for thicker gloves as these will not offer any protection against sharp pieces.

I love these gloves. They are exactly what I was looking for to work in the garden. They are size Medium which fits a women's hand perfectly. I like the back of the glove with the small dots to help with gripping. The jersey knit fabric is very comfortable. I will continue to order these gloves several times a year. The price is great !
