I have super thick hair. I bought these just for pulling the top and sides back to keep my hair out of my face and they work great. But just for the heck of it I pulled all my hair into a pony tail in the back to see if they would work for that and to my surprise they did! I have a hard time finding pony holder bands big enough to hold my hair in a pony tail but these did the job just fine!
