The battery doesn't last long between uses. I don't use it for my carpet as it doesn't roll well on rugs on carpet, but I do like it for my kitchen and bathrooms. It's lightweight and convenient not to have a cord to mess with. I used it in my SUV once and it worked ok. It's not terribly powerful, but ok. The light only comes on in dark places and goes on and off a lot while I'm using it. At first I thought it had a short or some thing, but I'm about convinced that it only comes on in very dark places. All in all it's a nice little extra vacuum to have but not as a main source for cleaning floors. I don't use the mopping part. Just doesn't work well for me l, I'd rather do that separate. The receptacle with the debris in it is a little tough to get back on once you take it off, but with a little practice you get the hang of it.
