This Ekrin Athletics Lifetime Warranty (“Lifetime Warranty”) is nontransferable and applies to Ekrin Athletics products sold directly by Ekrin Athletics or its authorized retailers and distributors. Ekrin Athletics warrants that its products will be free from defects in material and workmanship when used as intended and outlined in Ekrin Athletics' published guidelines.
What does our lifetime warranty cover?
Ekrin Athletics' lifetime warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the lifetime of your product. If there is a warranty claim, we will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship. All components of our products (battery, motor, attachments, etc.) are covered under the lifetime warranty.
What will we do to correct problems?
Ekrin Athletics will either repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or replace the product with a new one. In the event a product is replaced with a new one more than one year after the purchase date of the original product, providing the new replacement device will exhaust our obligations under this lifetime warranty. Replacement devices come with an additional 90 days of warranty coverage.
For customers living outside of the U.S., we require the customer to cover the cost of shipping for any warranty claims more than a year after the date of purchase.
How long does the coverage last?
All new Ekrin Athletics products are covered for the lifetime of your ownership.
What does this lifetime warranty not cover?
This Lifetime Warranty only covers product issues caused by defects in material or workmanship during ordinary personal use. The Lifetime Warranty does not cover issues caused by any other reason, including, but not limited to: (i) cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches or dents; (ii) damage caused by misuse or abuse, neglect, accident, drops, liquids, including but not limited to, fire, liquid contact, vandalism or external forces; (iii) the alteration of the product in any way; (iv) use in any manner that is inconsistent with the intended purpose or design of the product as described in the product’s owner's manual; (v) unauthorized repairs or modifications; (vi) commercial or professional use; (vii) normal battery capacity degradation (please note that while our batteries will slowly lose capacity over time like all lithium-ion batteries, we guarantee our batteries for 2 years, and will process a warranty claim for complete battery failure less than 2 years from the date of purchase); or (vii) loss of use during the period the product is at the Ekrin Athletics repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair or any other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of Ekrin Athletics.
