Great espresso shot
This bean makes the best espresso in my opinion. Very rich and tasty, great in a cappuccino or just as a plain shot I sometimes experiment with other beans but always come back to this one for my espresso maker Enough of a bite but also well balanced Always pours with incredible crema The chocolate plus cedar notes are subtle but add a depth which is fantastic while also being a balanced taste and incredible quality

Really enjoyed this one. It's smooth, bold, and not acidic at all, which I prefer. Strong chocolate and earthy flavors, with a rich, full body that feels very satisfying. It's not bitter, just deep and balanced. Great as a morning coffee and also holds up well if it sits for a bit. I've been making it as a pour-over and it comes out consistently good. If you like darker, fuller coffees instead of bright or fruity ones, this is definitely a great choice.

I was not blessed with a sensitive flavor palette as the lucky few are. Coffee has always just been coffee to me. That is until I tried the Sumatra Mandheling! It has a great depth of flavor that I would further describe as chocolatey, earthy, warm, and comforting. Not sweet, but like a warm cup of hot chocolate on a cold night. For me, it is a coffee to be enjoyed any time of day, and not just for a quick cup in the morning. It is my favorite so far, and maybe forever because I don't have much reason to look for a better one.
