Comparison vs Free Aware
I bought and returned the Free Aware headphones after my original Free died after a couple years of use. I was looking to make a sizable upgrade to improve my awareness during daily work at a metal fab shop. I really wanted to like them but instead could list many things I disliked. I'll limit my comments to say that the "aware" technology just doesn't seem to be there yet. It amplified to an annoying level the crackling sound of my welder and the fan above my head, but I still couldn't pick up voices as well as necessary. Not worth the price in my opinion. Plus, they are bulky and the buttons don't work with my welding gloves. The Free 2.0, on the other hand, (while still somewhat pricey) seems to be a good option. I still wish my originals lasted longer, and I'm hoping these ones will. I like the compact size, the hearing protection they provide, and the actual buttons rather than sensor type buttons make them much easier to use, especially with thick gloves (or my shoulder). All the features I need with none I don't. This is the fourth or fifth set of Bluetooth headphones I've owned and my favorite so far.

I was blown away at how good these headphones work on a job site and they will be on me now everyday. I truly can't hear anyone or anything when they are in and music is playing and if I want to be able to hear my surroundings I just turn the music off. Exceptional product.

WORTH IT!
These work amazing. They sound great and are easy to charge and keep up with. My wife liked them so much she made me buy her a set, as well. We'll be isotunes customers for life if this is the standard they set. 10/10 would definitely recommend!
