We had been having trouble with fleas when our dog. I had tried various other flea treatments, but none of them seem to work to eradicate all of the fleas. I prefer an oral flea treatment as I don't want pesticide in my own bloodstream from the topical getting on everything the dog lays on (%26 then I touch). But I have 1 dog that can't take oral treatment. So I've used Advantix for 12yrs. I do bathe him exactly 24hrs after application to avoid it transferring around my home.
