I take spirulina when I don't eat breakfast within an hour of arising. I take 6 tablets. Spirulina is a super food. It is 80% protein My husband takes 4 at bed time to keep his protein up since he donates plasma.

I'd bought a different brand here in a WOO HOO FIRST PAYCHECK frenzy. I didn't check other options. This has lots more tablets and is organic for about the same cost. Taste? Well, they're not chewable (they are I suppose but ...). Effects? They're a powerhouse of vitamins, minerals and beneficial goodies. On days I miss my daily spinach, I toss down a few extra.
