I Purchased this press for a couple of reasons number one is to take to our camper and number two is on the off chance that we should lose power again, I want to be able to have coffee at home!! my gas stove can still heat up water. I am very impressed at the quality of a cup of coffee this produced. for the price it's amazing and being that it's plastic I can store it in the camper and not worry about anything breaking I am more than happy
