My son is getting into drawing, and manga seems to be his preferred style as of right now. This kit includes hard and soft pencils, the colored pencils for shape and portion or layering effects, and pens to finish the drawing. It was for Christmas but he got to the box first and has been excited to have an "official manga artist kit."
