If it doesn't work the first time, don't give up.

It's easy to use. It's just a matter of trial and error. Watch lots of video tutorials online and follow them step by step. The tortilla recipe is also VERY important. And it helped me to coat the ball of dough in flour before putting it in the machine; that way it doesn't slip and cooks properly. For me, it's a very good machine. Thank you.

After reading some complaints about the handle breaking, I've been very careful when pressing down on mine. The non-stick coating works great—in fact, it's almost too non-stick, as my dough tends to slide out a bit! Other than that, I am very pleased with the results. I've only used it three times so far and try a slightly different recipe each time to perfect the consistency. My best advice is to ensure your dough is soft and to use very hot water when mixing it to prevent the dough from bouncing back—it makes a world of difference!
