Great Value Soft & Strong Premium Toilet Paper, 12 Mega Rolls

Face it people, all TP performs the same function, the only questions being cost, softness and 1 or 2 ply. Following the Extinction Level Event (ELE) of 2020-2021 humans came to understand that anything was better than nothing as shelves emptied, prices increased, purchase limits were set and hoarding became associated, strangely, with toilet paper. As factories continued production, maintaining sufficient staff became problematic and supply-chain problems were the order of the day. Never had Toilet Paper, in the history of language and communication, enjoyed so much attention as a topic of conversation. Near rioting occurred when stores announced arrival of fresh stock. Strange times indeed. Currently these issues appear to be resolved although many feel the need to keep a supply on hand. For some if us in this time of increasing prices, cost has become a crucial factor in purchase decisions. Name brand products are lovely and worth the price if cost is not a factor. But for hubby (87) and me (78) the household supplies budget has not increased and we find that this product performs well and we appreciate the reasonable cost. PS - this information applies to humans, not quadrupeds

Just me and hubby at home, I only want six rolls. Amazon basics is $6.51, great value is $9.98. The extra three dollars is worth it because it lasts nine days longer before I have to put another order in. The pictures are: Amazon on the left and Great Value on the right. This type of Great Value roll is also thicker so I would not recommend it for septic tank homeowners. I switched to Amazon originally because it gives me a discount when I subscribe (which Walmart doesn’t have at the moment) but after two purchases and running out so much faster I decided to come back to GV brand permanently for toilet paper. Walmart wins this one!
