Shake bottle well before using. 3. Pre-treat tough stains with Resolve Pet Expert Stain & Odor Remover. 4. For home-owned and rental machines recommended use is 2.3 fl. oz. of Resolve Pet Expert Steam Machine Formula fluid per gallon of hot tap water. Note: the water chamber in many leading machines holds one gallon of water. 5. Deep clean carpet and upholstery following machine users guide. 6. Allow carpet to dry thoroughly before using area. Resolve Pet Expert Steam Machine Formula is safe to use on wool, nylon and stain-resistant carpet. Before Cleaning: Test a hidden section of carpet for colorfastness. Resolve Pet Expert Steam Machine Formula was tested by independent laboratories for machine safety in leading current full size upright and canister steam machine cleaner models and hand-held machines. It pulled up massive black dirt and there was no smell after one shampoo. My husband shampooed a second time to make sure and it came back clear and we’ve not had any smell sense. This is the best carpet cleaning solution I have used so far it has a light citrus smell so it eliminates the smell of dog urine pretty well compared to all the others I’ve tried so far.
