the best carpet shampoo ever!!!

I recently moved into a beautiful apartment complex and I dont think the previous many renters owned a vacuum!! The high traffic areas/main walkway were so stained and just really dirty looking. after vacuuming 7 times(each time getting at least 1/2 cup sand it finally started to be ready for shampooing! the landlord assured me the carpet was only 2 years old so I took a chance.
