I used it after shower. Left it in my hair for about 5 hrs. After washing it out I noticed my hair felt fuller and softer. I was able to let my Curley and damaged hair air dry without any frizziness. I used it twice. It doesn't work when leaving it in as it states for me. I had to keep it in longer for the second time. It was also very easy to comb my hair after washing. Noticed shine!:)). My hair is middle-aged and blonde color-treated. Combine those with the after effects off chemo, leaving my hair brittle and not soft like it used to be, along with thinning issues, and my hair was looking like straw. Awful. This stuff is amazing in restoring softness, manageability, and shine. I don't have the problems I usually have with tangles, either. A little goes a long way and the tub lasts longer than you'd think.
