Rare volume control slider on cord (and ultra slim metal clip on control) more convenient than adjusting player, and the good but not extreme stereo volume amplifies the player, especially needed where ambient noise. Breathable foam ear pads safely hear surroundings better than complete ear cover style. (Walmart sells universal replacement pads if you wear these out.) Very lightweight.
