product makes my dishes even more clean and less spotty and no gritty residue along with the Jet-Dry. I never really knew how bad hard water was on your dishes and in the dishwasher until I use this water softening additive I would recommend using it it does make a big difference in the dishwasher.

I got this Aromasong dishwasher salt because my dishes kept coming out with a white film on them, especially glassware. I have hard water where I live, and I'd tried more rinse aid, different detergent pods, even running vinegar through a cycle. Nothing really fixed the problem. Then a friend told me about dishwasher salt, which I honestly didn't know was a thing. The bag is 5 lbs and the salt itself looks like slightly chunky white crystals, not the fine powder I expected. It doesn't have any smell at all, which I appreciated because I was worried about a weird chemical or fragrance transferring to my dishes. Here's the thing that confused me at first. This salt doesn't go in the main dishwasher tub. You have to find the little screw-on cap at the bottom of your dishwasher inside, under the bottom rack, and fill that compartment. My dishwasher has one, but apparently not all do, so check yours first. I poured the salt in using the included funnel (thank you for including that) and about two cups filled the reservoir. After one wash cycle, the difference was noticeable. My drinking glasses came out clear and spotty-free for the first time in months. No more cloudy film on my coffee mugs either. It didn't do anything for dried-on food, that's not what this is for, but the hard water stains are completely gone. The 5 lb bag is more than I need for a single fill. I'm hoping the salt doesn't clump up in the bag while it sits in my laundry room. I sealed it with a rubber band and put it in a dry cabinet. Works exactly as promised if your dishwasher has a salt compartment and you have hard water. Cloudy glasses be gone, my dishwasher finally grew up
