Smells Expensive Enough to Make Me Stand Up Straighter Versace Bright Crystal Absolu is one of those perfumes that makes you feel like you suddenly have your life together, even if you're wearing leggings, running late, and eating a granola bar over the sink. The scent is gorgeous — fresh, fruity, floral, and classy without smelling like you got attacked by a department store perfume counter. It has that clean, feminine “I casually own matching luggage” vibe. One spray and I'm convinced I need oversized sunglasses, brunch reservations, and a mysterious past. It's strong enough to be noticed, but not so strong that people three counties over are filing complaints. I've gotten compliments wearing it, which is always nice because nothing boosts your confidence like a stranger saying you smell good instead of quietly backing away. The bottle is also beautiful, because apparently Versace doesn't believe perfume should sit on your dresser looking boring. It looks fancy enough that I feel richer just owning it. Overall, this perfume is elegant, pretty, long-lasting, and dangerously good at making ordinary days feel a little more glamorous. Would absolutely buy again before I start misting the last few drops like it's liquid gold.
