I have the Pyle 6.5" waterproof speakers that are matched to this amplifier. Using this amp along with the Pyle 6.5" speakers in a Coleman cooler sounded great. This setup has no air movement as I made no portals. I use this cooler boom box setup on the back of my 2012 Yamaha wave-runner and it easily over powers the sound of the engine. The power is enough to get the job done. The Pyle 6.5" speakers really do get down to 45hz, not a sub..but good. NOTE: something I found, to power this amplifier outside of the ignition of a vehicle I had to also provide 12v + to the "remote" terminal. This unit does not power up just connecting the positive and negative, I had to also apply 12v positive to the remote terminal. I used a 1" red wire to jumper the two. Just my 2 cents.
