I bought this headlamp for paranormal investigations, I needed more than just a MAGLITE, and this thing is awesome. For $15, this is a durable headlamp and very high quality. I would recommend it for anyone who is in need of a headlamp. Another plus is that it came with a coupon for a free 1919 Reserve DX342 pocket knife. The only thing I had to pay for with the knife was shipping. The quality of the knife also reflects the quality of the headlamp. I would highly recommend Coast products to anyone on the market for portable lighting or knives.

For 15 dollars you really get a high quality headlamp. It feels sturdy in your hand, the band is very comfortable, and it has three brightness settings. You can also adjust the angle that the light points so that you can use it when looking down at something. I bought this because I needed a headlamp for a backpacking trip, and this fit the bill. Another advantage that this lamp offers is that it uses AAA batteries. While it may sound good to have a rechargeable headlamp, it makes more sense, in my opinion, to use replaceable batteries. That way, if it happens to run out of batteries in the woods (in my case) you can immediately put new ones in. Overall, you get a lot for a little bit of money. Also, there was a coupon inside my box for a free knife from the manufacturer. That just stands as a testament to the quality and customer service that the company offers.
