Pricey Downgrade in Performance
After two weeks with the V16 Animal, I'm disappointed. Despite better specs, real-world suction is weaker than my V15 Absolute, likely due to the redesigned roller head that grips carpet less effectively. It's also heavier. Design issues include difficult-to-remove attachments that get tighter with dust, and a charging station that stresses the battery area. Positives: premium build quality, convenient no-bend transition to handheld mode, effective dust compaction in the bin, cleaner emptying system, removable battery, and useful head illumination. At its premium price, the reduced suction performance makes this hard to recommend as an upgrade. The V15 remains the better choice for actual cleaning power.

Rather wish we hadn't…
It would've been perhaps rather naive of us to expect an impeccably high quality product from Dyson. But we certainly haven't thought this this time around on purchasing our forth hoover from them. I spend more time taking the thing apart and cleaning out apparent blocked airways and filter only to find that there's hardly a thing that's been picked up to be cleared out. When going, it's pretty good, but it's never for very long before it cuts out giving a “airway blocked” notification on its screen. I only wish I could be more positive in our new purchase, but satisfied? I am not. This will be our last Dyson.

Don't waste your money
I'm extremely disappointed with this product. It feels poorly designed and not properly tested in real-world conditions. The vacuum tends to flick debris around rather than picking it up efficiently, meaning I have to go over the same area multiple times just to get a decent result. The main cleaner head is also surprisingly noisy, and the automatic switching between carpet and hard floor modes is unreliable. It's often slow to respond, and at times it switches into carpet mode even when I'm using it on wooden flooring, which makes no sense and affects performance. The optional Submarine head is equally underwhelming. Instead of cleaning properly, it tends to spread dirty water across the floor, leaving visible streaks. It's also frustrating to clean after use, and the base scratches very easily as it drags along the floor. Overall, this feels like a substandard product that doesn't live up to expectations, especially from a brand like Dyson.
