The lid can be opened easily with one hand and has a clasp to keep it securely shut when not in use while the integrated scoop hook system allows the scoop to be stored inside the bin keeping it out of the product for quick access. The clear window on this lid also lets you identify the contents of the bin at a glance. In compliance with California AB1200 and Colorado HB22-1345 Rubbermaid has notified us that this product contains BPA.
