I got this WISHEAD 7 piece comforter set because I needed a whole new bedding situation for my guest room and I didn't want to spend a week shopping for matching pieces. The dark gray looked neutral enough to work with any decor and the price for seven pieces seemed reasonable. The first thing I noticed when I opened the package is how soft the comforter feels straight out of the bag. No weird stiffness or that crinkly sound some budget comforters make. The dark gray is exactly what I hoped for, a nice charcoal that reads as gray not black or blue. The stitching seems straight and the filling feels evenly spread out. The set includes the comforter, two pillowcases, two pillow shams, a flat sheet, and a fitted sheet. Everything was in the bag and nothing was missing. The shams have a simple flange edge that looks clean and matches the comforter well. The comforter is lightweight. I would call it perfect for spring and summer but you will definitely need an extra blanket underneath in the winter. I tested it on a 60 degree night with the heat off and I was comfortable but not warm. For colder months, this is not enough on its own. Here is my honest issue. The sheets are disappointing. They are soft but extremely thin. Like hold them up to the light and see through them thin. The fitted sheet has deep pockets and fits my queen mattress fine, but I do not expect these sheets to last more than a few washes. The elastic feels cheap too. I ended up using my own sheets and just kept the comforter and shams from this set. The pillowcases are the same thin material as the sheets so keep that in mind. I swapped those out too. On the positive side, the comforter washed well. Cold water, gentle cycle, low heat dry. No clumping, no fabric pilling, no color fading. The dark gray stayed dark. I'm hoping the comforter holds up for at least a couple years. The sheets I already gave up on. If you buy this set for the comforter and shams only, you will be happy. If you expect the sheets to perform like a stand alone sheet set, you might be disappointed. Good for someone who wants an affordable comforter and doesn't mind buying separate sheets.
