Special Kitty Chicken Dinner Shreds in Gravy Wet Cat Food, 5.5 oz Can

Having an older cat that has lost some of her teeth, you have to find certain foods she can enjoy. You also have to find a flavor that helps hide the bitter taste of the medicine she takes daily. This chicken flavor hits all the plus spots for her. She enjoys it along with a few other flavors offered in this brand. A happy cat with her belly full, medicine taken, and washing her face is always a great sign to see. This is shreds, and yes, we do chop it up into smaller bites to make it easier for her. I personally think it chops better than other brands we have tried. Special Kitty is her brand, and she knows when it's that time of day. She won't stop the meowing or tapping you until she has her bowl of food in front of her.

My 16 year old cat has always eaten Blue Buffalo indoor dry food with a tray of Sheba wet food at night. In the past month he has decided that he will ONLY eat the wet food, with crunchy treats to snack on mid day. He lost weight. With the Sheba food he was just licking the gravy off and leaving the meat and I would have to feed him 10 of those a day to provide enough calories, he'd go through all of that within two days; it simply isn't affordable. I searched for days and stumbled across this food. Upon opening it, I saw there wasn't much gravy and yet he gobbled up every last shred of meat. I can feed him 2 cans of this everyday and meet his needed caloric intake. I am so grateful that his food is priced well!
