Works great and so very useful!

Great deal on this kit for both meat grinder and sausage stuffer and shredder grater tools. Several different blades and grater tools are included for maximum convenience and exacting grinds and cuts for precise cuisine recipes. I've really enjoyed recreating my dad's old ground meat sandwich spread. Take leftovers from a tough roast, grind it up with pickles or add pickle relish and miracle whip or mayonnaise. Yummy good memories. I'm so excited to shred my own carrots and cabbage or broccoli stalks for slaws. Everything fits and works just fine with our old reliable KitchenAid. I see where they may have used lighter weight or less expensive materials for a few of the parts, but only in the areas where it doesn't need to be super heavy duty. Very smart engineering to a reasonable price point. Super happy with this, so I think I'm going to buy their juicer attachment based on this one's quality.

Great Add on Tool!

I immediately used the cheese shredding attachment. It comes in 3 different sizes (the smallest being good for a grated parmesan size). I used the largest first to get a standard shred size. I'll be honest this is going to be a time saver and kinder on my hands. For most holidays I find myself hand shredding pounds of cheese. It takes a long time and my hands are aching afterwards. For this attachment it took about ten seconds to install on the front of the mixer. You have to cut the block cheese down to a fairly small rectangle to feed it into the chamber but once you do it's straightforward. Just turning on the mixer to a lower speed or mix speed and applying a slight pressure from above with the feeder instrument included. I thought it would utilize gravity a little more but I didn't mind pushing the wedge down slightly as it shredded. It's still a great deal less effort than before. Put a large mixing bowl underneath to catch as it goes and it's going to be one of my new favorite gadgets. Haven't utilized the sausage making feature yet but with summer coming it is on the horizon.

Exceptional product. Love that it fits and works wonderfully with my Kitchen Aid mixer and it also works with the Kenmore Mixer. Great to grind your own meat for hamburger patties or meatloaf. Highly recommend this attachment to all.
