If you’re tired of flimsy camp chairs, get these. Unboxed two of them and the first thing I noticed was the weight — these are heavy because they’re solid. The steel frame has a powder-coated finish and wide feet so it won’t sink in soft ground. Build quality: The fabric is thick 600D oxford with double stitching. No creaking or flex when you sit down. The seat is padded and wide with good back support. Feels more like a porch chair than a camp chair. Features that matter: • Armrest cooler: Insulated zip pouch on the arm holds 3-4 cans with ice. Huge plus for fire pit nights. • Storage: Another zippered pouch on the opposite arm for phone, wallet, lighter, etc. • Cup holder: Built into the armrest, not that flimsy mesh kind. And it's huge • Carry bag: Heavy duty bag with a strap. Chairs fold down easy and the bag doesn’t feel like it’ll rip. Bottom line: You’re not backpacking with these — they’re heavy.
