Universal UNV16115 2-Ply 1/5-Cut Assorted Top Tab File Folders - Letter Size, Manila (100/Box)

These file folders are reinforced on the tab and across the top of the back panel of the folder. And they are expandable, as they have about 3 horizontal fold lines along the bottom to fit more papers. 1/5th cut is ideal for seeing more folder titles in one row, vs. the 1/3 tab cut ones. As you can see in the photos, I've organized the folders in sequence along repeating rows of 5 tab positions for my convenience. They come in the box stacked by all folders in one tab position (left), then another (2nd from left), then another (middle), etc. The first thing I did was take them all out and take one tab location, then another from the next tab location pile, and so on to the end until I have a ready complete row. Then I assembled another row, then another row, until I used all the folders. This way you are assembling rows and all your starting folders aren't in, say, only the leftmost position. They'll be nicely mixed up and randomized. See photos. After I put my papers in these, I will put them in a nice cream-colored faux leather file box I got for $12 online.
