Hershey's Kisses Milk Chocolate - Valentine's Edition - 25 lb

Purchased these in the bulk form to save money since prices have spiked on candy; however, this turned out to be no savings at all as the taste and quality do not compare with the smaller, more expensive bags. Ok… why you ask? Same thing I thought when my husband first announced that these Kisses didn't taste the same as normal. I thought he was being a bit dramatic… until I tasted one. The texture was quite soft ( not in a good way) and the mouth feel was off. They definitely lacked “ flavor” and, oddly, they were not even sweet! All around, a bad experience !! Out of curiosity, I did a web search and found that the company will alter the formulation/ recipe when producing the “ bulk” version of Kisses… so, you pay less money but get an inferior product. No real savings there!! The ingredients on the package read the same as smaller bags, but clearly the company has been playing games. Very disappointing from what we thought was a well-established, quality company.
