Finally, a decent scale that doesn't cost hundreds of dollars to own. A profession scale that are used in some Dr's offices. It's stable as well as accurate. Most scales that claim to have a 400 lb capacity will begin to receive damage to the mechanism at around 280 to 350 pounds of pressure. Meaning a person who is well within the weight capacity will weaken the mechanism with each use. However, with this scale, it is actually built to handle the maximum capacity in its description with zero damage to the mechanism (working parts). The results: the same accurate weigh-in for each individual...whether 100 lbs or 400 lbs. This product was well-built and is just another cheap design. Obviously, someone knows that endurance matters. It works for me. Well worth the extra money over conventional scales.
