Drinking too much at first will give you a tummy ache. Also drink it right away. I mixed up a glass, got distracted, then came back to it 5-10 minutes later and it was like hello! It would have been a 5 star review if it didn't have chemical colorants in it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Metamucil products for years and always had good luck with them. My digestive system has its ups and downs so Metamucil has always been there to help get things regular and under control. I was interested to try the Meta Appetite Control since I have started exercising more and trying to get my diet under control. I am usually pretty good until evening time. That is when I crave snacks and tend to pig out!! Around that time, I drink a big glass of this and don't have the urge to snack anymore. It's great! It does keep me full & satisfied until bed time. The taste isn't bad but the drink does need to be finished rather quickly before it starts to thicken. (which isn't pleasant!) If I drink it TOO fast, it tends to make me a bit queasy so there is definitely some give and take for me. I try to drink it as quickly as possible but normally by the time I get to the bottom of the glass, it has thickened quite a bit. Still a good product that works!
