Firestone Transforce HT All Season LT245/70R17 119/116R E Light Truck Tire Fits: 2015 Ford F-150 Lariat, 2004-10 Dodge Ram 2500 ST

My truck had fairly new Transforce HT's on it when I purchased. Having the aluminum rims, I chose not to un-mount the tires for rotation, so the fronts wore out with 20k on them, bad ball joints also lead to the lower mileage. I purchased new steel rims and ditched the aluminum and tried a competitors A/T tire, There was trouble from the first mile, sloppy ride and really loose. I took brand x AT's back and swapped for the Transforce HT's, BTW, the tire dealer gave me no hassle to do so. Transforce HT.s are stable, quiet and offer a smooth ride. More importantly, they do what my 1 ton dually needs them to do,...Perform...Although a road tire, I have never been stuck mud or soft ground nor have I had trouble in the snow. Happy so far with the new tire set up,

I bought a regular cab long box 4x4 HD 6.4 HEMI new. The tires came with the truck. The traction in snow and rain is bad, will slip on a bucket of water and spin just sitting there. I have to keep the 4 wheel locked in when it rains or snows to get any traction. I would not recommend this tire, which is sad since Dodge thought they must be a good tire to use for their trucks. I will be changing to an AT2 tire next. I just need better traction. Disappointed.
