Works just as intended.

The Odor-Eliminator filters are excellent. I ordered just two as I use them only as needed (as opposed to the others that remain in my purifiers for an entire season - i.e., Total Air, Allergen Remover, and Allergen Performance-Plus). I have used these for years, and they will remove the worst odors in 5 minutes (when new). However, one of them arrived with a slice in the packaging. I do not know if this will change the efficiency of the filter.

My favorite filter

I've tried several different filters and this is my favorite. I noticed right away that my machine runs much quieter with this filter, and the filter seems to last longer than others before needing to be changed. And it really does help remove odors. My only small complaint is the recent design change which eliminates the needs for a clip-on -- the filters really do fit tighter with the clip-on. But, that's a small issue for a good filter.

HOLMES Odor-Eliminator Replacement Filters

I purchased 2 of the Holmes Odor Eliminator Replacement Filters several months ago and was so impressed that I purchased another 2 to have on hand when needed. I have a German Shepherd dog and 2 Parrots. The combination of fur and feathers can give off a pet odor that is hard to eliminate. The replacement filters does the trick especially when the dog is shedding and the birds are molting. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is a pet lover.
