This underwear was handed to me by the hospital, to be worn while I had foot surgery. It was so comfortable that I HAD to buy some for myself! I especially like it because it is so diaphanous that the waistband does not cling tightly to the waist. It is also easy to put on, and pull down, which is helpful for my current one-foot condition. Just be aware that there is very little-to-no gusset in the crotch area.....But perhaps that is the reason hospitals use this type of clothing for surgery: it would not be difficult for the doctor to remove the underwear, in case of an emergency during surgery. But I LOVE this product!

In the package they appear as if they're a thinner material than the ones my daughter wore at the hospital. However, once put on, my teenager says they're the same feel and thickness. She likes these as much as the regular cotton cloth boxers I get her (not boxer briefs and doesn't like the feel of panties). Even when participating in activities, she doesn't feel sweaty or anything so they're better at absorbing/being breathable than the regular boxers are too. The bonus for my pockets though is the price and these being not disposable after wearing. Wash them out by hand, let them dry and you're good to go.
